The Mableton church is an independant, autonomous assembly of christians. We are endeavoring to work together for the mutual benefit of one another. Because we are each struggling against the influence of the world, we seek to support each other in this effort. Gal. 6:1,2
Together we are striving to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace by building one another up in the most holy faith. Although it is difficult to be godly while living among the worldly, God has given us brethren that we might gain strength from each other's love. Prov. 27:17
The basis of our fellowship is in the faithfulness of each member to the Bible's doctrine. It is the responsibility of each member to keep "himself unspotted from the world." 2 Thes. 3:14-15; Rom. 16:17; Eph. 5:11
However, the purpose of the gospel is to reconcile man unto the will of God. Through proclaiming the gospel of reconciliation, the members of the church in Mableton are seeking to establish peace and fellowship with all who will obey the gospel. 2 Cor. 5:18-20
"Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
